Hans Petter Karlsen, Director, High Point Cross Country Ski Center, is a former 4th place finisher in the Norwegian National Championship. He raced in World Cup and competed in Biathlon, while serving with his Majesty King’s Ski Troops in Norway.
He will be at this years event providing information about HPCC ski center which is located in the shadow of the monument, at the northen most tip of our state. It is an elevation of over 1600 feet in the snowiest spot in the metro area with 15 km of groomed ski, and 8 km of designated snowshoe trails marked to National Standards. It encompasses everything from beginner to expert.
It is easy to get to and is less than an hour and 30 minutes from the George Washington Bridge. Private & Group lessons are available along with their being special events and rates.
